From the Revolutionary War to the present day, veterans have answered the call to duty, leaving behind families and careers to protect our freedoms. They have faced unimaginable challenges, endured hardships, and made many sacrifices.
How to Honor Veterans
There are many ways to honor our veterans:
- Say Thank You: A simple "thank you" can mean the world to a veteran. Let them know you appreciate their service. Go out of your way to make sure you show your gratitude to a veteran on Veteran’s Day.
- Support Veteran-Owned Businesses: Patronize businesses owned by veterans to help them thrive.
